There has been a lot of talk about Google suppressing fake Covid news. James thought that he would run a few different tests to investigate it. This test involves adding Covid-19 to the title.

In his next test, the text is inside of the title and just put it in the title and just to see what I would do it. There is the title and it went down. Back to the middle again, down, back to the middle again and just dropped there.
At the end of the day, there's also no filter looking in the title tag for that. The speculation that James made is maybe he with the keyword density. I don't think adding the covid-19 news really was significant. It caused the bounce. Really, at the end of the day, the test was is there a filter looking for these things that were going to suck it out of the algo depending on the website and that there's not. For me, I think it's cool that there is no algorithm doing it.
Then, I think it's really damn scary that there are human beings that are tasked with censoring the information that's inside of the Google algorithm and YouTube. Which begs the question – and I'm sure Dori, I don't know if you and I have get into this topic, but if big tech is going to start censoring things, who are the sensors and who decides what gets to go and what does it? In the case of Google, we know that they are heavily-outsourced or they bring in people from India to all the coding stuff and the Indian people are mainly their call centers.
They're mainly their support staff. There are mass workshops over there, mainly their quality editors and stuff and, obviously, have some people from other countries and stuff but I'm picking on India. At the end of the day, if you think about it, how is an Indian person in a position to say what is what in the United States any more than how is a United States support person to say what is what in India. I think it's really dangerous now that we are.
At one point, we're forcing big tech to censor and filter out "fake news" and now they're taking it upon themselves with no guns whatsoever and I think that's dangerous. Along the lines of James's test, now we know that algorithm they're not doing it. They're doing it manually which to me, tin-foil hat time, that's pretty damn scary.
