Previous tests within the SEO community, including SIA, have found that Google Drawings do have some valuable link power and are great easy Tier1 links when not abused.
However, there have been tons of software and training put out that talk about how to create these “Google Stacks”, and Google has since stopped allowing for a ‘Public’ link in its shared document options.
We check if Google Drawings still have ranking value, despite the non-public link.

This one is Google Drawings. If you don't know you can actually put a picture on there and this one you can do Publish to the Web and it actually creates a link and supposedly is indexable. When I did that, Anyone can view and Publish to Web, publish to web I assume was the one that's going to work. It turned out what happened was Publish to the Web actually fell down.
So, when you do those drawings, I can actually put a picture like this inside of the Google Drawing on top of backlinks. You can put backlinks on inside of that Google Drawing and then lay a picture over it so whenever they land on the drawing all they see is the picture but there's a whole bunch of backlinks out there. I didn't set it up that sneakily but you can see here the intent I think was what Google is looking for: 0 + 0 = 0, or in this case, you have a negative one and Google awarded those published to the web a negative one and dropped that page down a little bit.
This is consistent across all the tests. Anyone can view either stayed there, in this case, it stayed there. Then, the publish to web dropped. Again, I want to test the backlink power and push those through and see what happens.
