There has been much discussion about the SEOAP tool in SEO circles around the web as it grows in popularity. A lot of trust and hype always comes with the use of these tools and subsequent link diagrams created with them.
One that is always lacking is the determination of the power of each of the different types of links these tools create.
This is a 2 part series of tests by Clint. For this test, we check out SEO AP’s PDF Links feature.

The next one is PDF links. Same setup. Again, this is 60%, 20% and 20%, 9 links created out of the software, submitted to the index on 27th.
Here's the entire setup. You can see I actually paid a little attention to the anchor text and then here's the content or a preview of the spun content. It's just the stuff that the tool generates.
So, you click a little button here and get articles from their free sources and then spin it and there you go. So, I just use that.
There's a starting point and then on February 4th, it dropped. February 17th still there, was a dropped and then last night it was right down there again.
This is another "Is it the link that failed? The link type that failed? The web 2.0 blogs. Is it the link types that failed or is it, my exact match anchor?” I think it's probably my exact match anchor because I've used these links before to rank and I messed them up with those anchor texts.
So, we'll see how it goes. I'm going to drop this one all the way down the ~ to see what happens and we'll see if we get the same result because not all PDF sharing sites are equal and maybe the ones that are in the software just not doing this or not cutting it and since it's a brand new keyword if it had any power whatsoever it would have increase rankings.
