James noticed some hype online that has something to do with a service called ‘Sepclix’.
This offers real human clicks in order to manipulate CRT and boost rank.
He signed up for the 14-day free trial, which offered approximately 300 clicks.
The company does say that you should not expect too much from the free trial, but he was interested to check it out, anyway.

CTR manipulation through SerpClix. I've heard a lot about this service and I think this came out of a conversation – James can correct me if I'm wrong but, in the Slack group. We're just looking around and seeing if CTR manipulation works. I think that the general conscientious is that it does when done right and the test pretty much showed that. He was just using this service SerpClix. I'm not entirely sure how it works but I think it's mobile traffic and James can correct me if I'm incorrect.
This is the page that he was sending the traffic to with the campaign. Here's the setup if you've never been to SerpClix before. Check this out and you get a nice view of what to expect and how the order system is and it's all credit base. He ordered 55 clicks to that. Then, he fired it off and there it goes.
That was the 20, the fourth, the fifth, nothing. The sixth jumped up to three then the eighth was back down and the eleventh, twelfth #1. Then, he ran out of credits which is my biggest thing. When you run out of credits and the traffic stops look what happened to the page right back to where it started. That's the problem that I have always had with CTR manipulation is because unless you have something that's just going to keep it going in perpetuity you can be wasting your time. In a launch jacking thing it might work and you can run up a bot and keep traffic going to it during the launch period while it's still popular and boost it up there then I say go for that. Do it. But if you're doing this on for a client's website or something like that and you want to keep that client around for two years and you rank that page with CTR you better be doing some backlink stuff to make sure that gets locked in there because at some point you're going to want to turn off that ctr campaign. If you do that without anything supporting it you're going to see the same result as James'.
He proved that this SerpClix works for sure. Then, he also proved as soon as you stop that you're going to be right back where you ended up which was my hypothesis, my number one complaint with CTR. That's a good test for James. I like that. Definitely if you're into affiliate stuff and you have a product on your ecomm store that's really hot right now, it's trending I would definitely suggest to try that out.
